Required Skills: •Assist with Machine safety assessments (TMSS). •Lead and implement manufacturing projects focused on improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance. •Provide training and prepare new programming related to PLC and HMI equipment. •Develop and optimize manufacturing lines and standard work using Lean manufacturing principles. •Design, develop, and implement industrial control systems aligned with established company control strategies . •Assist in the development of standards and procedures related to process control for software, hardware including software back-ups of new and existing control systems and their interfaces. •Oversee installation, commissioning, and integration of control systems on new and existing equipment . •Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems and related automation technologies . Qualifications: •B.S.E.E. or M.S.E.E. degree (Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science is preferred). •Minimum of 3 years of controls experience in a manufacturing environment. •PLC & HMI Platforms: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi; high level of knowledge is preferred. •Industrial Robotics: Fanuc, Kuka, Yaskawa Motoman, EPSON; basic to medium level of knowledge. •Data Base: Ignition, SQL; basic level of knowledge preferred. •Extensive experience and understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes. •Electrical knowledge and analytical ability. •Must possess a high level of independent judgment, professionalism and integrity.
