Required Skills: •Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, fixed assets, and cash management. •Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and supporting analyses. •Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial models to support operational planning. •Establish and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures that support governance and regulatory compliance. •Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners. •Monitor capital expenditures, project accounting, procurement controls, and asset capitalization. •Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, corporate policies, tax regulations, and other applicable financial reporting requirements. •Partner with operations, engineering, geology, human resources, and executive leadership to provide financial guidance and business analysis. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. •CPA designation is preferred. •Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, payroll, and cash management. •Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate financial information effectively while building strong cross-functional relationships. •This position reports to the CFO and works cross-functionally with geology, engineering, operations, and corporate teams.
