Required Skills: •We need someone who can operate at both levels: deep in the details when the close, inventory, or ERP needs attention, and high enough to turn the numbers into clear business insight. You'll strengthen our accounting foundation, improve visibility into margins and working capital, and build a finance function ready for the next stage of growth. •This role is 100% onsite. We build things together, in person. •Own the month-end and year-end close, delivering timely and accurate GAAP financial statements. •Own the general ledger, chart of accounts, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account-level review. •Lead the core accounting operation, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, sales deductions, and cash application. •Establish, document, and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, close calendars, and internal controls. •Ensure financial reporting is accurate, well-supported, and ready for executive, lender, and external review. •Cost Accounting, Inventory & Working Capital Qualifications: •You set big goals, push for greatness, and never stop looking for ways to improve. •You bring positive energy, communicate openly, and make the people around you better. •You care about the craft. You don't ship mediocre work. •You go above and beyond to understand what your consumer wants - and you deliver it. •Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or comparable leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; food and beverage or CPG experience strongly preferred. •Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting, with hands-on experience in cost accounting and inventory accounting. •Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling, scenario, sensitivity, and variance analysis capabilities. •Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes, explain variances, and communicate results concisely. •Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to work directly with executive-level management and cross-functional leaders.
