Location: Alameda, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 09:18:07 Employment Type: Contract / On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SaaS About the job Experience: •3+ years of relevant legal experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Required Skills: •Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, SaaS and managed services, software licenses, data processing agreements, consulting agreements, and other types of vendor agreements. * •Provide pragmatic, business-oriented advice to Company management and key department stakeholders, including close coordination with Sales and Marketing, Regulatory, IT, Operations, Quality and Finance. * •Advise and support Company management on contracting and compliance with all applicable laws, including those related to operation in healthcare and the life sciences.* •Address issues related to data privacy and security, both in the US and internationally. •Help to shape the continuous improvement of contract templates and playbooks. •Select, manage, train, and develop staff. Establish objectives and assignments and provide ongoing feedback through performance reviews and development plans. * •Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. * •Understand relevant security, privacy, and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company. * Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree and J.D. required with 3+ years of relevant legal experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience •Previous experience in the life sciences industry is strongly preferred •Bar membership, California preferred or at least one other state’s bar and the ability to obtain registered in-house counsel status. •Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industry experience desired •Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills •High degree of accuracy and attention to detail •Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint •Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously •Willingness and ability to work on site.
