Required Skills: •The Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for developing and effectively deploying an Operations Continuous Improvement Program across the Clayton Supply Organization centered on Lean Manufacturing Principles & Best Practices utilizing the key technical skills listed below. •Create, maintain, and deliver training across the division to help advance the Continuous Improvement culture. •Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles in areas that have not been previously exposed, maintain those principles over time. •Work closely with Plant General Manages to ensure Continuous Improvement Programs meet expectations and are clearly communicated. •Develop Key Metrics needed to track improvements within the Plants that impact the bottom line. •Assess Operation Performance through data analysis and use this to identify areas of concern and corrective actions. •Work closely with supervisors and team members on GEMBA-based Kaizens and actively participate in Kaizen events. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical or Statistics is required with a major in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering preferred. •At least 3+ years of continuous improvement experience within a manufacturing environment. •Must be able to manage projects off-site across multiple Manufacturing Sites.
