Company: State of Colorado Location: Colorado, United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 21:12:30 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Program Management About the job Required Skills: •Represent OIT within the Continuity Coordinator statewide group (managed by the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management) and lead improvement efforts related to strengthening OIT’s Continuity Program. •Also work, collaborate, and partner with the Disaster Recovery team to create a unified effort for OIT's continuity and disaster recovery strategy and operations. Qualifications: •A minimum of five (5) years of dedicated experience in emergency management and/or continuity program design, implementation, and execution. •Knowledge of the National Incident Management System (NIMS), Continuity Guidance Circular and Incident Command Structure (FEMA). •Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications. •Training or Certification related to the work assigned to the position will be assigned credit towards substitution for experience and/or education, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications. •If the minimum qualifications include a degree requirement, additional appropriate paid or unpaid experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. •Previous experience working for a municipal, state, or federal government organization. •Operational familiarity with state-specific regulations, policies, and procedures around Emergency Management and Continuity Planning. •Program management experience. •Business Continuity certifications (CBCI, CBCP, EDRP). •OIT employees must comply with any screening procedures in place at state agency locations where they might perform work.
