Hiring: Content Strategist and Public Relations Consultant Company: CAPTRUST Location: Raleigh, NC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:46:48 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Asana, Wealth Management, WordPress About the job Experience: •7 years of experience writing and editing marketing, editorial, or public relations content for print and/or digital platforms Required Skills: •This role is responsible for developing high-quality, strategically aligned content for multiple audiences, including wealth management clients, retirement plan sponsors and participants, endowment and foundation leaders, and colleagues across the firm. •The ideal candidate brings strong writing judgment, an ability to translate complex concepts into clear communication, and interest in contributing to how content supports business development and client engagement. •Write and develop original content for captrust.com, including long- and short-form articles and video scripts •Partner with subject matter experts to translate complex financial topics into clear, client-ready insights •Develop copy for client- and prospect-facing materials, including presentations, presentations, ads, and campaign content •Work closely with Communication Senior Manager to help shape and execute CAPTRUST’s public relations strategy, with a focus on elevating the firm’s visibility, reputation, and differentiated positioning •Identify and develop compelling storylines and narratives aligned with firm priorities, market trends, and growth initiatives •Draft and refine high-impact external communications, including press releases, executive talking points, and media responses Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience in English, journalism, public relations, technical writing, marketing, or a related field •5–7 years of experience writing and editing marketing, editorial, or public relations content for print and/or digital platforms •Demonstrated ability to develop content and communications that align with broader business and marketing objectives •Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging narratives •Operational familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) preferred •Previous experience in the financial or investment advisory industry is not required. •WHAT can you expect from your career at CAPTRUST? •Health, dental, and vision coverage, employer 401(k) plan and company match, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, and voluntary supplemental plans subject to plan terms. •Company-paid benefits such as life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability, subject to applicable waiting periods. •Paid time off (PTO) or Paid Sick Leave (PSL) Compensation: •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
