Hiring: Construction Project Manager - Public & Commercial Projects Company: CyberCoders Location: Seattle, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 02:00:36 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management About the job Experience: •5 years of project management experience with a General Contractor •Minimum 5 years of project management experience with a General Contractor Required Skills: •Lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of projects in commercial, public, institutional, and K-12 environments. •Coordinate mechanical and electrical design, installation, and commissioning activities; review shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and compliance. •Manage project budgets, cost tracking, change orders, and procurement to meet financial targets and reduce risk. •Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact, maintaining strong relationships and providing regular project updates and meetings. •Oversee subcontractor selection, performance, and coordination to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion. •Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, verify work, and enforce safety and quality standards. •Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues promptly, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. •Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, meeting minutes, and closeout deliverables. Qualifications: •Proven experience with commercial, public, institutional, and/or K-12 projects and understanding of their unique requirements. •Proven experience with Tenant Improvements or Remodels •Knowledge of HVAC systems, MEP coordination, commissioning, and shop drawing review. •Proficiency with project management and construction tools (MS Project, Procore, Primavera) and familiarity with BIM/Revit. •Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and client-management skills. •Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.
