Hiring: Construction Manager - Ultra Pure Water Company: Hoffman Construction Company Location: Boise Metropolitan Area Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:26:24 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Project Management, Prolog, Workday About the job Required Skills: •This position will be fully at the project site in Boise, ID. •Oversee ultra-pure water subcontractor and vendor installation work daily to ensure they are maintaining their installation schedule and support system startup and commissioning activities. •Interface between Area Construction Managers and multiple subcontractors to assist in coordinating mechanical and electrical system startups. •Verify all documentation is complete, and ensure equipment being prepared for startup is construction complete and can safely be started. •Coordinate MEP systems with civil, architectural, and structural elements within the overall project design. •Organize and facilitate training of clients' personnel in the operations and maintenance of MEP systems. •Run startup meetings involving Area Construction Managers, design team members, multiple subcontractors, local utility agencies, and owners to coordinate/drive MEP system start up activities. •Review and process project submittal information and coordinate between multiple submittals to ensure the accuracy and functionality of each component of the various MEP systems. Qualifications: •A minimum of five (5) years of mechanical construction experience required. •Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is required. •LEED Accredited Professional, or the ability to become accredited within eighteen (18) months preferred. •High School diploma or GED required. •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience required. •Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is a combination of being stationary and moving about the work location. •Must be able to climb stairs: Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces. •Hands/Arms: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Frequently operates machinery and will use hands/fingers and legs to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect and position materials. •Hearing: Must be able to work in proximity to loud equipment more than 75% of the time. Must be able to wear hearing protection as necessary. Often required to communicate with customers and coworkers in an office setting and on the job site. •Speech: Ability to communicate laws, ordinances, plans, regulations, protocols, directives, and standard operating procedures related to project scope in English.
