Hiring: Construction Manager - Data Centers (HVAC Equipment) Company: LONG Building Technologies Location: Littleton, CO Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 12:40:40 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management, Root Cause Analysis About the job Experience: •5+ years of project experience working in the construction industry required or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. •10+ years of project experience working in the construction industry Required Skills: •Review the project in depth to understand schedules of deliverables, installation requirements, and budgets. •Coordinate and oversee work with general contractors, mechanical contractors, temperature control contractors, commissioning agents, and manufacturing partners to ensure a high level of quality and safety. •Conduct site inspections to assess project progress, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with safety and installation requirements. •Remain available at jobsites to receive project equipment, ensure submittal compliance, document damage, and process freight claims. •Ensure project equipment is installed in accordance with contract documents and manufacturer installation manuals. Maintain documentation in accordance with contract documents and construction practices. •Interface directly with equipment startup teams and commissioning agents to ensure equipment startup and operation are in accordance with contract documents and manufacturer recommendations. •Lead startup, commissioning, and integrated systems testing (IST) execution, planning, and readiness reviews. •Ensure that the sales team, contractor staffing, factory support, and commissioning agents are aligned to IST schedules. Qualifications: •Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and/or other related discipline •Advanced knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards. •Availability for after-hour consultation and problem-solving assigned jobs as necessary. •Excellent time and project management skills •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Computer literate with Microsoft applications. •No candidate will meet every single desired qualification.
