Location: Lima, OH Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 10:56:50 Employment Type: Contract About the job Experience: •We are seeking an Estimator with 2 years technical or business degree and estimating experience to submit estimates for bids Required Skills: •Provide technical estimation of electrical projects from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer. •Quantity takeoff entry into estimating software •Solicitation and review vendor and subcontractor quotations •Review current material prices levels review and estimate addenda as required •Visit site and/or attend site walk meeting. •Initial review of contract if included in bid documents •Draft and submit proposal documents •Follow post bid closeout procedures Qualifications: •Completion of an electrical training program •Two years technical or business degree or equivalent combinations of education and estimating experience •Five years experience as electrical estimator preferable •Requires the knowledge of electrical construction theory. •Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality. •Demonstrate conceptual estimates and financial analytical skills. •Excellent oral and written communication skills •Electrical construction experience or construction management degree •Disabled/Veterans candidates encouraged to apply •Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).
