Required Skills: •Oversee the end-to-end conflicts, new business intake, and risk management processes. •Serve as the senior escalation point and primary liaison between Firm leadership, attorneys, and relevant business departments on conflicts and risk matters. •Conduct extensive internal and external research on existing and prospective clients, related parties, and matters to identify potential conflicts of interest. •Perform due diligence and analyze complex information to evaluate and resolve actual and potential conflicts. •Assess risk issues and provide timely clearance in a deadline-driven environment. •Analyze large volumes of complex data and communicate findings and recommendations clearly and concisely. •Identify situations requiring conflicts waivers and work with attorneys to evaluate and address waiver requirements. •Review new business intake forms, ensuring party information is complete, accurate, and properly entered. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctorate preferred. •3–5 years of experience in a law firm or legal/risk environment with primary responsibility for conflicts analysis, reporting, and oversight of conflicts processes. •In-depth knowledge of legal ethics, conflicts of interest, and risk management principles. •Demonstrated capacity to research and interpret complex corporate structures, including subsidiaries, affiliates, and related entities. •In-depth knowledge of client and matter database management and maintenance. •Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information and exercise sound judgment. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Demonstrated capacity to prioritize multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. •Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, Firm leadership, and cross-functional teams.
