Working under the direction of the Conflicts Supervisor and other in-house counsel, the Conflicts Analyst reports on potential conflicts of interest relating to matter intake and lateral hiring. •Partner cross-functionally with attorneys in the Office of General Counsel to research, analyze, and resolve conflicts of interest •Review client/matter intake forms and ensure completeness and accuracy. •Review searches and reports for clients, matters, lateral attorney candidates and/or other new business, using the Firm’s conflicts and intake databases. •Demonstrated capacity to articulate in writing the key findings in the form of a summary or report. •Monitor and address all incoming email to shared department email inbox for urgent requests. Qualifications: •Basic typing skills (at least 40 wpm) •Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel •Demonstrated capacity to compile, review, filter, synthesize, and interpret information which is varied in content and format •Demonstrated capacity to work independently, exercise good judgment, and make decisions when appropriate •Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply the applicable rules of professional conduct regarding conflicts of interest •Strong research skills using internal and external resources. •Proven aptitude to quickly learn new applications •Strong organizational skills, including the ability to produce a high quality and accurate work product with minimal supervision •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with attorneys and staff at all levels •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Compensation: •$75,000 - $120,000 / year •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) •Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, a global Am Law 50 firm, has an immediate opening for a Conflicts Analyst Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
