Hiring: Configuration Analyst Principal Company: SAIC Location: District of Columbia, United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 10:22:54 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Agile, Jira About the job Experience: •10+ years' experience (5+ in CM) Required Skills: •NOTE Position will either be staffed onsite at Crane or remotely in Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL. •Apply sound configuration management practices to evolving technical program baseline(s), and ensure configuration items are correct, complete, and consistent in compliance with technical and programmatic requirements •This position will require heavy interface with a variety of Government National Team program stakeholders (government, Prime Contractor, National Labs) as well as various Government/contractor working groups that span functional areas (systems engineering, hardware & software engineering, logistics) •Perform configuration audits including Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) •Establish and maintain product baselines (Functional, Allocated, and Product) for assigned systems and subsystems •Coordinate with logistics, engineering, and program management teams to ensure configuration changes are properly reflected in technical data packages (TDPs) •This position must be filled in Crane, IN, Huntsville, AL, or Washington, DC and requires regular access to Classified information. •Position does allow for a hybrid schedule with some telework when not needed at the customer site Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years' experience (5+ in CM) •Formal Configuration Management Certificate (i.e., CMII, CMPIC, CMTF) •CM Leadership experience (experience with both developmental and sustainment programs desired) •DoD Acquisition program experience (Navy program experience preferred) •Interim clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process •Background in Software CM (SCM) and Agile processes •Target salary range $80,001 - $120,000.
