Hiring: Configuration Analyst, Autonomous Systems Company: DZYNE Technologies Location: Irvine, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-02 17:57:19 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords: Configuration Management, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), BOM Management, Revision Control, PLM/PDM Systems, MRP, Document Control, Configuration Status Accounting, Traceability, UAS, Aerospace, Defense Experience: • 1 – 4 years of experience with working knowledge of engineering change processes and document control practices • Experience maintaining configuration data in a regulated or production-oriented environment • Relevant experience working in a structured technical, manufacturing, operations, or regulated environment (formal education in a technical field is a plus but not required) Required Skills: • Maintain configuration records for hardware, software, firmware, and documentation • Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in accordance with established CM procedures • Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), part numbers, revisions, and effectivity • Ensure accurate release, version control, and status tracking of drawings, specifications, and technical documents • Update and maintain configuration data in PDM, MRP and other related enterprise systems • Support configuration status accounting and reporting • Assist with internal and external audits by providing configuration evidence and traceability • Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure released configurations are build-ready and production-aligned • Track configuration deviations and assist in documenting approved variances • Familiarity with BOM management and revision control • Experience using PLM/PDM systems and structured data repositories • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy • Ability to work cross-functionally and follow defined processes • Clear written and verbal communication skills Qualifications: • Experience in aerospace, UAS, defense, robotics, or complex electro-mechanical systems (preferred) • Familiarity with prototype-to-production transitions (preferred) • Experience supporting manufacturing or fielded systems (preferred) • Exposure to ERP/MRP integrations (preferred) • Understanding of basic configuration management principles (identification, control, status accounting) (preferred) • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship • This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including ITAR; employment is contingent upon meeting applicable export control eligibility requirements • Clearance Level Required: None • Travel Required: Less than 10% • Work Arrangement: On-site Compensation: $90,000 – $108,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. Compensation depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions.
