Hiring: Computer Operator, Testing and Data Collection Company: Dexis Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:16:06 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office, Security Clearance About the job Required Skills: •Assist functional users of computer systems by accepting processing requirements and preparing them for execution. •Assist in setting up and maintaining test projects and suggest improvements to customized electronic data-entry forms. •Learn and gain experience using web-enabled data management systems such as ODIN and VDLS to track and monitor data flow. •Learn and gain experience using application tools such as Cognos to query databases and produce professional reports based on user requirements. Qualifications: •Associate’s degree in Computer Studies or a related field such as Information Technology, Information Management Systems, or Computer Technology; OR two (2) years of experience using data-entry software tools in a Windows environment and industry-standard reporting tools such as IBM Cognos, Microsoft Access, or Crystal Reports. •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. •Must possess a high school diploma. •Must be proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English. •Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. •Must be proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software. •Must be able to meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned functions, which may include working in extreme heat or cold, high humidity, blowing sand and dust, confined spaces, at heights, and walking distances over unimproved terrain while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). •Must be available to support work outside normal duty hours when required by mission needs. •Must be willing and able to travel within CONUS and OCONUS as required. •Dexis is on a mission to help solve today’s most pressing global political, social, and economic challenges and create a world where all people are safe and prosperous.
