Investigations such as incidents of peer-to-peer sexual contact, medication variance, peer-to-peer aggression with injury, suspicious injury of unknown origin, elopement off campus, and deaths, egregious staff misconduct, and other investigations as directed. •Conducts internal facility investigations by collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, alleged perpetrator(s), and victim(s), collecting written statements, and reviewing camera footage, documents, and records. •Prepares investigative reports to include findings and conclusions on alleged incidents and recommended actions. Qualifications: •Post-high school coursework/training in criminal justice, law enforcement, or a human service-related field and experience with investigations, data or trend analysis or a related area. •Two years of experience in conducting and facilitating training on administrative investigations. Knowledge and experience in American Correctional Association standards, Prison Rape Elimination Act standards and/or experience with accreditation standard preparation. •Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation for work-related travel. •The principles and practices of investigative techniques including collection of evidence, interviewing, data analysis, evaluation and drawing conclusions; methods and techniques of data and trend analysis. •Employed by the State of Nebraska, please don't apply through this external career site.
