Hiring: Compensation Partner (Piscataway, NJ) Company: Evonik Location: Piscataway, NJ Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 17:57:01 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords: Compensation Programs, Salary Planning, Incentive Programs, Job Evaluation, Korn Ferry Hay Methodology, Market Benchmarking, FLSA Compliance, Workday, Workday Advanced Compensation, ADP, HRIT Systems, Sales Incentive Design, Variable Pay, Salary Surveys, Total Rewards, HR Business Partnering, Global Compensation, Data Analysis, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Confidentiality Experience: - Minimum 5 years of broad-based compensation experience - Experience designing sales incentive and variable pay programs - Leading compensation projects with HR Business Partners and key business stakeholders - Handling and administering country merit and bonus processes - Costa Rica compensation practices - Working independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities across multiple countries - Working in both regional and global team settings Required Skills: - Administer annual salary planning and short-term/long-term incentive programs - Lead and participate in projects affecting broad-based compensation programs, processes, and systems across the U.S., Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico - Conduct competitive compensation assessments for base and variable pay through salary surveys and analysis - Perform job evaluations using market data and Korn Ferry Hay methodology and slotting to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and FLSA compliance - Advise HR Business Partners and Business Leaders on compensation-related issues - Analyze effectiveness of compensation programs and recommend improvements - Provide guidance on wage and hour and other regulatory requirements affecting compensation - Manage annual compensation planning process - Present salary grade and total pay recommendations based on market research and internal analysis - Prepare compensation reports, communications, and analysis documentation - Drive harmonization of pay practices and processes across business units - Align with Global compensation function in Germany - Maintain in-depth understanding of compensation technology, external regulations, and industry best practices - Contribute to drafting/creating HR frameworks and tools within compensation - Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HRIT systems including Workday, Workday Advanced Compensation module, Workday module rollouts, and ADP - Complete compensation surveys, job matching, and work with external benchmarking vendors and databases - Analyze benchmarking data and develop recommendations to salary structures and budgets - Maintain high levels of confidentiality Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field - Local telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week - Up to 5% domestic travel and 5% international travel required - Must promote and maintain principles and responsibilities related to Responsible Care within assigned areas and as defined in the RC 14001 management system Compensation: $112,611 - $166,500 per year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
