Hiring: Community Support Staff Company: Dungarvin Location: Mankato, MN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 07:40:04 Employment Type: Remote About the job Experience: •4 years of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults OR •2 years of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults OR •1 year of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults •18 years of age •At least 4 years of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults OR Required Skills: •As an Employment Support Specialist (Job Coach), you’ll provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities as they explore, secure, and succeed in competitive, integrated employment. You’ll be a mentor, advocate, and partner in helping others reach their goals through: •Meeting clients in their homes and community to build trust and connection •Conducting career assessments that focus on individual strengths, skills, and interests •Helping develop or revise resumes, practice interviews, and identify job leads •Supporting onboarding and training with new employers •Providing ongoing coaching to promote job retention and personal growth •Attending team meetings, writing progress reports, and maintaining clear communication •Creating positive, lasting impact—one job, one goal, one success at a time Qualifications: •Must meet requirements of a Designated Coordinator •High school diploma or GED plus at least 4 years of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults OR •Associate degree in human services, education, or a related field plus at least 2 years of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults OR •Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, or a related field plus at least 1 year of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults •Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance •Must be at least 18 years of age •Demonstrated capacity to stand, walk, bend, or lift •Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills •Demonstrated capacity to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members •Knowledge of the job market and hiring process Compensation: •Competitive benefits and rewards package •You’ll work directly with people in need of assistance, and/or living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
