Hiring: Community Impact Capital Senior Tax Analyst Company: Huntington National Bank Location: Clayton, MO Job Posted Time: 2026-09-09 17:56:32 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords: Tax Compliance, Partnership Tax Returns, K-1s, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Historic Tax Credits (HTC), New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC), Tax Credit Investments, Partnership Taxation, Financial Modeling, Accounting Principles, Federal & State Tax, Tax Credit Utilization, Fund Administration, Process Improvement Experience: - 5+ years of tax experience - At least 4 years related to LIHTC, HTC, NMTC, or other tax credit investments Required Skills: - Leading review and analysis of partnership tax returns, K-1s, and related tax reporting - Evaluating, researching, and documenting complex federal and state tax issues associated with tax credit investments - Managing communication, tracking, and receipt of tax returns for direct, multi-investor, and proprietary investment funds - Serving as liaison between internal teams, external tax preparers, fund administrators, asset managers, and Corporate Tax Department - Forecasting annual federal and state tax liabilities and recommending tax credit utilization strategies - Identifying opportunities to maximize value of state and federal tax credits and other tax attributes - Maintaining oversight of tax credit delivery schedules and accurate accounting/tracking of K-1s - Reviewing partnership agreements, operating agreements, and transaction documents for tax implications - Supporting new product development by evaluating tax implications of proposed structures - Leading tax-related process improvement initiatives, including procedures, controls, and reporting tools - Assisting with internal audit, external audit, regulatory, and tax authority requests - Managing annual business license renewals, registrations, and compliance requirements - Representing the organization at industry conferences, tax credit forums, and policy discussions Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; Accounting, Finance, or related business degree preferred - Advanced technical knowledge of the LIHTC program - Strong understanding of partnership taxation, tax credit structures, financial modeling, and accounting principles - Experience reviewing partnership tax returns and K-1s - Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay) Compensation: - $70,000.00 - $140,000.00 USD Annual Salary - Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and education - Eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan - Benefits include health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
