Hiring: Communications Security (COMSEC) Specialist Company: Rividium Inc Location: Washington, DC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 13:39:06 Employment Type: Contract About the job Required Skills: •RiVidium Inc. is seeking a highly skilled •The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience working in a security-conscious environment involving controlled communications equipment and materials. •Serve as a COMSEC specialist supporting the secure management and accountability of COMSEC equipment, materials, and associated documentation. •Maintain accurate inventories, records, logs, and accountability documentation for COMSEC assets. •Ensure COMSEC materials are properly received, stored, safeguarded, transferred, and disposed of in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures. •Support COMSEC account management activities and maintain required documentation and records. •Conduct periodic inventories and reconciliations of COMSEC equipment and materials. •Identify and report discrepancies, security concerns, or potential incidents involving COMSEC assets. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field. •In-depth knowledge of security procedures, accountability practices, and protection of sensitive information. •Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills. •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a federal or highly regulated environment. •Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate security records. •Government-provided COMSEC Custodian training will be provided upon assignment •, as applicable to the position and mission requirements. •Previous experience managing COMSEC accounts, equipment, or controlled cryptographic materials. •Operational familiarity with federal cybersecurity and information assurance policies and procedures. •Security-related certifications are a plus.
