Required Skills: •SOCOTEC’s combination of expertise, experience and methods are increasingly recognized as best-in-class fueling significant growth. •SOCOTEC is proud to announce that it has been officially certified as a Great Place to Work by the renowned global authority on workplace culture, Great Place to Work®. •Review of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) design documents such as drawings, specifications (“specs”), Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR), and Basis of Design (BOD) to evaluate energy efficiency. •Perform measurement, verification, commissioning, and retro-commissioning. •Provide, prepare, and develop Pre-Functional and Functional testing forms in compliance with green building practices. •Collect data for energy conservation analyses, using jobsite observation, field inspections, and submetering. •Conduct periodic site visits for observation and acceptance of Pre-Functional tests. •Inspect and monitor energy-related systems, including heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, power distribution, domestic hot water, and pumping to determine energy use and potential energy savings. Qualifications: •Minimum requires bachelor’s degree major in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering – or foreign degree equivalent – plus 2 years of training in mechanical systems, building design, and construction.
