These positions play a key role in evaluating commercial insurance risks, supporting agency partners, and contributing to profitable growth across our underwriting portfolio. •Whether you're beginning your underwriting career or bringing advanced commercial lines expertise, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills, expand your product knowledge, and work alongside experienced underwriting professionals in a collaborative environment. •Please note the position will be filled at a level (I,II, or III ) appropriate to the candidate's experience and qualifications. •Developing proficiency in underwriting with responsibility for evaluating and servicing one line of business. •Builds foundational underwriting knowledge through training, coaching, and hands-on experience. •Works under moderate supervision while developing underwriting judgment and decision-making skills. •Demonstrated ability to independently underwrite and manage multiple lines of business, typically including two product lines. •Exercises sound underwriting judgment and handles a broader range of account complexities. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. •Previous insurance, customer service, financial services, or related business experience preferred. •Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. •Eagerness to learn commercial insurance concepts and underwriting principles. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. •Commercial lines insurance or underwriting experience preferred. •Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate and manage multiple lines of business. •Solid functional working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, policy language, and rating concepts. •Strong decision-making, communication, and relationship-building skills. •Professional insurance designation or progress toward designation preferred.
