Required Skills: •This position involves field-based work requiring travel within the assigned market/territory. Residency within or in close proximity to the designated market is required to support job responsibilities. •Calculate, prepare, and develop premium quotations in accordance with corporate underwriting guidelines and delegated authority. •Determine underwriting eligibility, analyze account exposures, and accept or reject new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes within authority limits. •Evaluate agency production, loss experience, and profitability to identify trends and implement corrective action plans as needed. •Manage an assigned territory or region, with accountability for new business development, retention, profitability, and growth objectives. •Develop, maintain, and strengthen agency relationships through regular consultation, service, and business planning. •Address agent and policyholder inquiries and coordinate solutions to customer, operational, and service-related issues. •Promote workers' compensation insurance products and services while identifying opportunities to expand business within the territory. Qualifications: •Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. •Bachelor’s degree in marketing, insurance or related field. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. •Certification, or progress toward, highly preferred and encouraged.
