This secured unit provides specialized care for patients with both medical and behavioral health needs. Qualifications: •BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date. •Demonstrated ability to observe deviations from normal. •Strong interpersonal and communication skills. •Demonstrated capacity to adapt to different work environments and patient populations. •Previous acute care CNA or other direct patient-care experience. •Previous CNA experience in a psych, behavioral, or memory care facility. •Knowledge of Epic, UCSD Paging & Scheduling Systems. •Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs. •Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
