Required Skills: •Load parts, fixtures, and probes; execute existing CMM programs. •Write, develop, validate and debug measuring machine programs and provide the supporting documentation for CMM inspections. •Communicate with all machinists, supervisors, and engineers to meet customer/shop floor needs. •Troubleshoot and solve both machine issues and related problems in the measuring process. •Perform 1st piece, in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges and CMM equipment according to AMT, customer and AS9100 standards. •Complete customer PPAP requirements including control plans and inspection reports. •Perform incoming material inspection tasks according to AS 9100 procedures and counterfeit awareness per AS6174. •Perform final inspection according to AS 9100 procedures. Qualifications: •Strong specific knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, setup, tooling and fixture techniques. •Demonstrated capacity to create inspection reports, perform 1st article/in-process/final inspection reports. •Knowledge of inspection tool usage such as Micrometers, Calipers etc. •Good typing skills and ability to use software such as word, excel etc. •Knowledge of how CAD models work. •Demonstrated critical thinking abilities and root cause analysis. •Strong attention to detail and accuracy. •Proficient use of shop arithmetic and strong math skills. •Awareness of general safety, and quality systems. •High School Diploma or GED.
