Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. •Programs and operates a CMM(s); revises programs to maximize effectiveness and efficiency •Investigates and collaborates with cross-functional team members to resolve manufacturing-related non-conformances or other concerns •Initiates nonconformance records and disposition of parts not meeting requirements •Completes First Article Inspections to AS9102 and company/contractual requirements •Continually strives to improve inspection effectiveness and efficiency by recommending and supporting the implementation of process improvements •Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external personnel to identify root causes, troubleshoot and address errors and trends, and negotiate the resolution of non-conforming parts and necessary rework or reinspection •May perform other inspections using precision measurement instruments such as mics, calipers, and gauges Qualifications: •Demonstrated accuracy in reading & accurately interpreting shop blueprints, sketches, and other technical information/instructions is required •Advanced math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide using fractions and decimal conversions) •Knowledge of customer and industry standards and quality system requirements, including AS9100, and FAA requirements, is desired •Knowledge of problem-solving techniques (i.e., Statistical Quality Control/Statistical Process-Control, etc.) •Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing (English) •Basic skills using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel,and Word; ERP experience is advantageous •A history of consistent employment without unexplained or significant gaps or frequent job changes is expected •High School diploma or GED equivalent •An associate degree or equivalent education in a relevant mechanical/technical program is preferred Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
