Location: Huntsville, AL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 01:57:50 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : ABAC, AWS, Ansible, Azure, GCP, IaC, Istio, Kubernetes, Linkerd, Linux, RBAC, Secret Clearance, Terraform, VPC About the job Experience: •Multicast/UDP including practical knowledge of multicast UDP and broadcast UDP traffic handling •SDN and Hardware-Defined Networking experience •Secure routing across domains including ability to create and manage secure routing paths between isolated domains or enclaves •Network physical infrastructure practical experience including establishing and managing software-in-the-cloud infrastructure •5 years of professional networking experience with focus on cloud and software-defined environments Required Skills: •Container Network Interface (CNI) expertise including experience with one or more CNIs: Cilium, Multus, or similar •Enterprise software hosting including background deploying and supporting enterprise-grade applications in production environments •Network access policy development including experience defining and governing network access protocols, firewall rules, and zero-trust policies •Container-mesh architectures including familiarity with container-based network meshes (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and service-mesh concepts •Cloud-to-cloud routing including experience routing traffic between multiple cloud service provider instances •Hybrid cloud infrastructure including proven work with hybrid cloud models linking remote clouds to on-premise resources •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities including troubleshooting complex network issues •Excellent communication skills including ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders Qualifications: •Network design including proven experience setting up restricted/compliant networks and securing inter-domain/enclave communication •Cloud networking including hands-on experience with cloud networking services (VPC, VNets, peering, transit gateways, switches, routing tables, ABAC/RBAC rules) •Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in related discipline with 5 years professional experience; or Master’s degree with 3 years professional experience; or PhD with no experience •Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in related discipline with 9 years professional experience; or Master’s degree with 7 years professional experience; or PhD with 4 years professional experience •Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in related discipline with 14 years professional experience; or Master’s degree with 12 years professional experience; or PhD with 9 years professional experience •An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work.
