Required Skills: •Climate Analytics and Strategic Research •Conduct and help oversee production of quantitative and qualitative analyses on climate-related issues, including greenhouse gas emissions, decarbonization pathways, and mitigation opportunities. •Analyze climate data, economic models, financial mechanisms, and policy developments to support organizational priorities, including monitoring and synthesize developments in international, federal, state, and private-sector climate policy and finance. •Evaluate greenhouse gas emissions, investment, and climate finance trends, investment opportunities, and emerging funding mechanisms relevant to ocean and climate solutions. •Develop dashboards, briefing materials, and analytical tools that support strategic decision-making across the Climate Team and organization. •Cross-Functional Program Support •Serve as an analytical resource across Ocean Conservancy’s climate portfolio, collaborating with science, policy, conservation, communications, development, and government affairs teams. •Actively facilitate and support Vice President for Climate and climate team members in drafting strategy documents and tracking implementation, including for fundraising.
