Required Skills: •Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip. •Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports. •Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit. •Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit. •Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents. •Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck. •Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing the company positively. •Lead and oversee following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations. Qualifications: •High school diploma or equivalent preferred. •Requires a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) and appropriate endorsements. •Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
