Required Skills: •Direct and coach the work of Property Damage Claims Adjusters. •Plan unit workflow and monitor assignment of claims to unit members based on complexity, severity, and volume. •Establish and monitor unit goals for service, production, and work quality. •Review active and closed files in compliance with Quality Assurance program to identify trends, provide direction, and provide feedback to unit. •Provide management with monthly analysis of quality trends and performance of claims associates. •Conduct training on a group and individual basis on all aspects of the job. •Promote teamwork through effective leadership. •Review and approve settlements that exceed staff authority levels. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university strongly recommended. •Able to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task. •Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. •Able to exercise independent judgement. •Have a working knowledge of claim applications, including Image Right, Claims Pro, and the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
