Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers, client, or employees of organization. •Demonstrated capacity to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. •Demonstrated capacity to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral, diagram or schedule form. Required Skills: •NANA Worley is hiring for multiple positions at varying classifications from Civil/Structural Engineer to Civil/Structural Specialist Engineers dependent on experience and competencies. •This position qualifies for the NANA Worley Candidate Referral Program, available only to existing NANA Worley employees* •The Civil/Structural Engineer position is responsible for researching, specifying, developing, designing, engineering, or testing components, equipment and/or systems in a multi-discipline engineering and design team. Individuals are expected to apply advanced knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques to project assignments. •This position is intended for execution from the NANA Worley offices in Anchorage, Alaska, USA. •Researches and analyzes data such as client design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application. •Works with clients to develop a project’s scope of work, estimates, and/or schedules. •Reviews and approves project drawings, standards, and specifications. •Develops major equipment and material selection, and construction specifications. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited institution required. •A minimum of 2 years of work experience, with oil and gas industry experienced preferred; and Engineer in Training certificate (EIT) or passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam preferred. •Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited institution; and 4-10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry; and PE/SE license strongly desired •Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, 8-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and PE/SE license; or Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience. •Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and PE/SE license; or Bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of experience. •Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, 20+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and PE license; or Bachelor’s degree and 25+ years of experience.
