Required Skills: •Perform engineering calculations and create estimates. •Develop drawings by modifying or replicating a prior project, applying changes and corrections from redlined drawings, and/or creating drawings from sketches of others or from own design. •Ensure designs are in accordance with company and client production and design standards. •Perform QA/QC by verifying design methodology, calculations, outcomes, etc. •Interpret and understand drawings from multiple disciplines for specific projects and respond to requests for information regarding same. •Conduct field inspections and surveys, investigate variables, obtain measurements, photographs, videos, and take notes; write reports documenting same. •Research and apply code provisions to design. •Interface directly with senior engineers to create project designs. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field). •0-2+ years of related experience. •Interest in Civil/Site Engineering projects; prior experience preferred but not required. •Strong CAD skills, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and WaterCAD. •Demonstrated capacity to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. •Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. •Land Development project experience is a plus.
