Location: Jacksonville, AR Job Posted Time: 2026-09-14 12:37:19 Employment Type: Contract About the job Required Skills: •Prepares budgets for routine operations and grant applications. •Monitors expense and revenue accounts for coding and adherence to budgets. •Prepares monthly and periodic financial statements for the Executive Director, and others as needed. •Ensures that all accounts receivable items are monitored for timely billing and collection. •Monitors General Ledger accounts for prepaid items, notes payable, and fixed assets. •Supervises the adherence to internal controls and compliance regulations of the accounting department, including coordinating computer activities to assure accounting procedures are consistently maintained and updated in all facets of data base system for fund accounting. •Participates in all program planning for the creation, expansion or adjustment of services to ensure financial aspects are properly addressed. •Prepares corrective action plans for audit recommendations/suggestions. Qualifications: •Undergraduate Degree (Required): A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a closely related field. •Advanced Degree (Highly Preferred): An MBA (Master of Business Administration) or a Master's in Accounting/Nonprofit Management. •Professional Certification (Highly Recommended): A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. •Valid Driver's License, current auto liability insurance and registration and be physically able to drive to various locations in Arkansas.
