Hiring: CFO Company: TALTRAN Global Location: Philadelphia, PA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:46:15 Employment Type: Full-time / On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Financial Planning About the job Experience: •10-20 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally including experience in both a sophisticated organization and a smaller, resource-constrained environment where the candidate helped build or professionalize the finance function •Direct experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing economics, product or unit costing, labor, inventory, production efficiency, and operational KPIs •Strong FP&A, cash flow modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and business-partnering capabilities •Solid understanding of GAAP and the ability to oversee accurate, timely financial reporting and appropriate controls •Hands-on, entrepreneurial operating style with the ability to build processes, systems, and teams without relying on a large existing infrastructure Required Skills: •Build and professionalize the company's financial infrastructure, including accounting, controls, reporting processes, and a consistent monthly close and reporting cadence •Develop robust managerial and cost accounting capabilities for the manufacturing operation, including unit economics, labor costs, production efficiency, throughput, inventory, and plant-level performance metrics •Lead forward-looking financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, scenario analysis, and long-range planning •Partner closely with operations leadership on manufacturing productivity, capacity expansion, cost improvement, and broader operational performance initiatives •Lead the evaluation and implementation of a new ERP system and improve the integration of financial, operational, customer, and manufacturing data •Actively facilitate and support company's acquisition strategy, including financial due diligence, transaction analysis, acquisition modeling, and post-close integration •Build and develop a high-performing finance organization, adding capabilities across controllership, FP&A, and accounting as the business grows •Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on capital allocation, pricing, profitability, investment decisions, and growth initiatives Qualifications: •Prior experience in a private-equity-backed or growth-equity-backed company, including exposure to sponsor reporting and management incentive plans •Direct M&A experience, including financial due diligence, acquisition analysis, and post-close integration •CPA designation •Prior experience helping a company professionalize its financial infrastructure during a period of rapid growth or ownership transition •Prior experience creating meaningful value or participating in a successful liquidity event •Long-term interest in broader general management or CEO-level responsibility •The position offers a highly competitive executive compensation package designed to reward both near-term performance and long-term value creation.
