Required Skills: •We are seeking a CFD Engineer I to support cooling system performance analysis and product development for Cummins. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer, along with experience in 1D/3D cooling system simulation. •Perform 1D and CFD simulations for cooling components and systems. •Support cooling system performance analysis for engines, powertrain, and electrification systems. •Develop and analyze simulation models using CFD tools. •Perform meshing and CAD-related activities for engineering analysis. •Support product development, validation, and continuous improvement activities. •Partner cross-functionally with cross-functional engineering teams and manage multiple projects. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. •Strong background in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. •Proficiency in CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, or OpenFOAM. •Knowledge of 1D simulation tools such as GT-Suite. •Operational familiarity with CAD tools such as Creo. •Knowledge of product development processes for engines, machinery, and battery/electric systems. •Strong project management and communication skills.
