Hiring: Certified Peer Support Professional CCBHC Company: Centerstone Location: Columbus, IN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:27:18 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Experience: •Minimum of one year of recovery. •Lived Experience with Mental Illness/ Substance Use or Gambling Disorder •Willing to share personal recovery story to assist others •Assist clients in determining reasonable and holistic steps moving into recovery and identifying barriers to recovery goals Required Skills: •Verbalize understanding of what recovery means and articulate it to others. •Assist clients with identifying personal strengths in daily living and recovery skills. •Assist staff in identifying program elements that are supportive or barriers to recovery. •Facilitate evidence based protocols, safety plans, complete screens and risk assessments as trained. •Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to partner with Centerstone programs and community partners. •Coordinate and assist with crisis intervention/ connection to care. •Coordinate referrals to inpatient, residential behavioral health/mental health/substance treatment. •Transport clients to appointments and to access resources. Qualifications: •Basic computer literacy is required. •Must be 18 years of age or older, have lived experience receiving mental health, substance use or gambling treatment.
