Are you living your life's work? •The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at PPMC is seeking a full-time day shift CNA. The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) provides a safe and comfortable environment for both patient and personnel to provide optimum assistance to the Surgeons and Anesthesiologists in meeting the emergency, preventive and restorative health needs of the patients. •The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a key member of the healthcare team, providing quality care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). This role involves assisting with patient care, reporting observations, and supporting overall patient needs while promoting excellent communication with the care team. •Receive shift report from RN and provide updates at the end of your shift. •Report any abnormalities to the RN and the oncoming team. •Identify patients per hospital policy before starting tasks. •Collect data such as vital signs, weight, height, blood sugar, and functional status. Qualifications: •High School Diploma or GED required. •Graduate of a certified Nursing Assistant program or Matriculated in an accredited ASN/BSN Nursing Program preferred; minimally completed the nursing foundations/fundamentals clinical course with a 3.0 GPA overall and in the nursing major.
