Required Skills: •Expert guidance and coaching of patients and families and other healthcare providers •Leadership (clinical, professional, and systems) •Provides evidence based comprehensive care for women, including routine obstetric care and management of routine non-surgical care for gynecologic care for patients. Obstetric care includes antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care for pregnant patients. CNM assumes direct responsibility for implementing care plan. •Participates and/or leads quality assessment and performance improvement activities. •Acts as a liaison between the patient, family and physicians •Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to assure consistent and appropriate patient care for this patient population •Works collaboratively with the Medical Director/Chairman and or Collaborating Physician •Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving. Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred. Serve on-call and/or weekend rotations as required.
