Hiring: Center for Intercultural Advancement - International Student Services Coordinator & DSO Company: Wagner College Location: Staten Island, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 13:48:35 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Required Skills: •Position Title: International Student Services Coordinator & DSO •Reports To: Director of Global Education / Principal Designated School Official •Wagner College seeks an International Student Services Coordinator & Designated School Official (DSO) to join the Office of Global Education and provide comprehensive support to the College's international student population. •Provide front-line advising and support to international students regarding F-1 status, institutional requirements, enrollment, travel, employment, program completion, and other matters within the scope of the position and DSO responsibilities. •Complete required training and, upon institutional designation, serve as a Designated School Official. •Work closely with the Director/PDSO to develop comprehensive knowledge of Wagner's international student compliance processes and procedures. •Assist with maintaining accurate international student information in SEVIS and College systems. •Assist with the preparation, issuance, and maintenance of Forms I-20 and related documentation within authorized DSO responsibilities. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. •Professional experience in higher education, international education, student affairs, immigration-related student services, academic advising, admissions, athletics administration, or a related area. •Demonstrated capacity to meet federal eligibility requirements for designation as a DSO. •Demonstrated interest in developing expertise in international student services and F-1 compliance. •Strong organizational, analytical, communication, documentation, and follow-through skills. •Demonstrated capacity to learn, interpret, and consistently apply detailed policies and regulatory requirements. •Demonstrated capacity to handle sensitive student information with discretion and sound professional judgment. •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and collaboratively. •Strong commitment to supporting international students and their educational experience. •Master's degree in higher education, international education, student affairs, counseling, education, or a related field.
