Required Skills: •Own the firm’s compliance program, overseeing the function from end to end, including policies and procedures, monitoring, testing, regulatory requirements, and ongoing program enhancements. •Evaluate the existing compliance framework and continue to evolve the program alongside the growth and increasing complexity of the firm. •Oversee the Code of Ethics, including personal trading, gifts and entertainment, political contributions, outside business activities, and conflicts of interest. •Oversee compliance with the SEC’s marketing rule, including review and approval of marketing materials, pitch decks, RFPs, and investor communications. •Provide practical, commercially minded compliance guidance to the broader business on regulatory matters. •Lead regulatory examination preparedness and ongoing testing of the compliance program; manage and coordinate SEC examinations, deficiency responses, and remediation efforts, as needed. •Engage with current and prospective investors regarding the firm’s compliance program and related matters. •Assist in development and implementation of a firm-wide AI governance and acceptable-use policy. Qualifications: •Substantial in-house compliance experience within private equity, private credit, or a comparable investment management environment leading or meaningfully owning a comprehensive compliance program. •Energetic, collaborative, and team-oriented approach with a desire to become deeply integrated within the organization. •JD or legal background is welcome but not required. •New York-based candidates are preferred.
