Required Skills: •Oversee daily operations of designated freight zone, including assigning sourcing and coverage responsibilities as needed, and ensuring service expectations are met. •Manage P&L for your freight zone, ensuring load booking and profitability goals are achieved. •Provide support to Carrier Account Managers with escalations for OS&D, claims, accessorials, and other carrier-related problem resolution. •Support ongoing training and development for Carrier Sales Reps within your zone. •Assist Account Managers with feedback on quoting opportunities and RFP’s. •Identify and problem-solve opportunities for process improvement/technology enhancements. •Offer insight to Carrier Account Managers on carrier prospecting strategies. •Provide tactical coaching and feedback on performance to Carrier Account Managers within your zone, including regularly scheduled 1 on 1 meetings. Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Sales, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field. •Minimum of 1-year experience in people management, with proven success developing talent.
