Hiring: Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist - Vascular Company: TALENT Software Services Location: Tulsa, OK Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:35:59 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, BLS, CAD, Credentialing About the job Experience: •Six (6) months of related experience. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare staff regarding Cardiac Ultrasound results. •Demonstrated capacity to serve in on-call rotation after regular business hours. Required Skills: •Demonstrates correct technique, efficiency, and judgment in performing advanced cardiac and/or peripheral vascular procedures. •Performs adult and/or pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures, including TEE and stress echo, and/or peripheral vascular procedures, including arterials, renals, and transcranial Doppler. •Reviews pertinent patient data and reports before procedures. •Operates equipment necessary to perform all required procedures and obtain optimal diagnostic recording; utilizes ancillary devices such as selected transducers and digital networking systems. •Exercises appropriate judgment in notification of abnormal results to the reading physician and evaluates and reports findings to the cardiologist. •Maintains proper documentation of data according to lab, departmental, and hospital policy. •Documents all procedures accurately in departmental tracking processes and efficiently processes charging and other necessary data. •Collaborates in maintaining departmental efficiency and anticipates needs in equipment and supplies, using resources wisely to assist in cost containment. Qualifications: •High School diploma or GED. •Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Cardiac Ultrasound certification program. •Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). •OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
