Location: Hot Springs, AR Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 14:59:53 Target Skills & Keywords : Hardhat About the job Required Skills: •Performs company field operations including manual labor and other duties necessary to accomplish the installation, repair, construction and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems. •Install, repair, or replace steel and plastic pipe •Provide First Responder assistance in emergency situations •Load and unload required equipment, tools, and supplies onto and from truck •Use a variety of hand tools and power tools, including picks, shovels, sharpshooters, pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, bolt cutters, pavement saws, jack hammers, air guns, etc. •Operate a motor vehicle and heavy equipment and the ability to enter and exit vehicle unassisted •Operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop •Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects Qualifications: •High school diploma or GED •Demonstrated capacity to work outdoors on a daily basis in all types of weather conditions •Must be available to respond to emergencies during and after normal working hours •The position is covered under the D.O.T. regulations and Summit Utilities Drug and Alcohol Policy and is, therefore, subject to all terms of the Policy, including the random selection for drug testing. •The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
