Hiring: Business Development Associate Company: TotalEnergies Location: Houston, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:35:14 Employment Type: Contract About the job Experience: •2 years of experience working in the energy industry – Experience with renewable energy projects and/or investment banking preferred Required Skills: •Support acquisition opportunities to determine fundamental viability, as well as evaluate project design and operation. •Evaluate development assets at all stages using financial models, updating those models as necessary in partnership with project finance team members. •Assist with acquisition negotiations (e.g., MIPAs, PSAs, IAs, JVAs, etc.) and project due diligence to ensure project constructability. •Research available state and ISO/RTO market programs and incentives to maximize project valuations. •Support responses to acquisition-related questions from internal and external stakeholders. •Actively facilitate and support development and vetting of business plans and financial models. •Actively facilitate and support headquarters country delegate & economist team through the obtainment of internal approvals as needed. •Assist in developing competitive pricing and competitive analysis.
