Hiring: Barback Company: Mondrian South Beach Location: Miami Beach, FL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 11:14:41 About the job Required Skills: •Maintain adequate stock levels of all bar items, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware, at the pool bar stations. •Retrieve and transport stock from storage areas to the bar, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste. •Assist with regular inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor. •Prepare and cut garnishes as needed throughout the shift. •Ensure all beverage stations, including refrigerators, ice bins, and storage areas, are clean and organized. •Set up and break down bar areas, including transporting necessary equipment and supplies. •Continuously monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping/mopping floors, and emptying trash receptacles. •Clean and polish glassware, bar tools, and equipment. Qualifications: •Previous experience as a barback or in a similar support role in a high-volume F&B environment, preferably in a hotel or resort setting. •Demonstrated capacity to work efficiently and independently, as well as collaboratively within a team. •Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. •Basic knowledge of bar operations, common beverages, and glassware is preferred. •Demonstrated capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, humidity). •Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests. •Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. •High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. •Demonstrated capacity to stand and walk for extended periods, often on hot surfaces. •Demonstrated capacity to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) frequently.
