As an AVP, you will work on strategic projects, support post-trade functions, and contribute to our product roadmap. Your role is crucial in driving our software development initiatives and collaborating with diverse teams to achieve our goals. •Work on greenfield and brownfield projects in Post Trade Technology, supporting various post-trade functions and handling Business as Usual requests. •Propose improvements to development and support activities, ensuring efficient processes. •Troubleshoot and resolve production system support issues, maintaining high system uptime. •Perform software maintenance and upgrades, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems. •Liaise with different teams to resolve dependencies and ensure timely delivery of projects. •Partner cross-functionally with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality solutions. •Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes. Qualifications: •Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). •Proficiency in Java, SQL Server, Postgres, Angular, Spring, Docker, and Unix shell scripting. •Operational familiarity with Gitlab source control, CI/CD, and DevOps practices is required. •Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities and best practices. •Any experience with Test-Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development is an advantage. •Operational familiarity with cloud technologies, deployment, and design is a plus. •A strong aptitude for learning new technologies and a passion for staying updated with industry trends.
