Required Skills: •We CGI is seeking an experienced Automation Quality Engineer (QE) with strong expertise in test automation using Playwright, Selenium and Cucumber and also will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated testing solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. •This is a Full-Time, On-Site employment opportunity located in Lafayette, LA or Bloomfield, CT in a Hybrid Model. •Your future duties and responsibilities •Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright for UI, functional, regression, and end to end testing. •Develop and execute API automation, automated regression suites, test data validation, and reporting to ensure application quality and reliability. •Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing, faster feedback, and reliable releases. •Leverage Generative AI and AI assisted QE tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, and Microsoft Copilot for test generation, defect analysis, RCA, and automation optimization. •Partner cross-functionally with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to improve automation coverage, troubleshoot defects, optimize testing processes, and drive continuous quality improvement.
