Hiring: Automation and Controls Engineer Company: Entegris Location: Chaska, MN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:07:08 Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, CAD, Change Management, Digital Transformation, Manufacturing Execution Systems, PLC, Project Management, SCADA, SolidWorks, Systems Design, Systems Integration About the job Experience: •18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship •2+ years of experience in automation and controls engineering within a manufacturing environment Required Skills: •Our Chaska site is seeking a highly skilled and innovative •Design, develop, and implement PLC, HMI, SCADA, and robotic control systems for manufacturing equipment •Lead automation projects from concept, design, and programming through commissioning and production support •Develop and maintain control system architectures, electrical designs, and documentation •Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred), HMIs, vision systems, and robotics platforms •Optimize system performance, cycle times, and reliability using data-driven analysis and continuous improvement methodologies •Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, controls, communication, and system integration issues •Specify, integrate, and support industrial components including sensors, instrumentation, servo systems, VFDs, motion control, and safety systems Qualifications: •Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times •Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift •Demonstrated capacity to use hand tools and perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, and reaching •Demonstrated capacity to work at heights using ladders, lifts, or platforms as needed •Demonstrated capacity to obtain forklift certification if required •Works well independently and within a team environment hy Work At Entegris? •Lead.
