Required Skills: •An in-person interview may be required during the hiring process •$128,136.00 to $252,194.00 (NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA) •In CA: Typical hiring range is $171,148.50 to $209,181.50 •The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location. •Essential job functions include a comprehensive review of new and transfer file assignments with initial evaluation letter to claims and service of initial discovery within 30 days of receipt of assignment. •Summarizing discovery responses and medical records within 30 days of receipt. •Taking and defending depositions of parties, lay witnesses, and expert witnesses and completion of deposition summaries within 20 days. •Law and motion: legal research; preparation of motions, oppositions and replies to motion; court appearance at law and motion. Qualifications: •Minimum: Requires a law degree and admission to the bar in the state(s) were practicing. •Preferred: Requires a law degree from a state accredited or ABA accredited law school and admission to the bar in the state(s) were practicing.
